MSFW- Designer Series Runway 2

Last night I attended Designer Runway 2 at MSFW. The designers presenting their SS collections were Arthur Galan (who was the designer victim of animal activists out the front of the building as he used fur in his winter collection), Alice Euphemia, Carly Hunter, Jayson Brundson, LIFEwithBIRD, Manning Cartell, Thurley and YB J’aime.

Key trends amongst these brilliant designer collections were geometric, floral (Thurley, Manning Cartell and YB J’aime took full advantage) and leopard prints (print on print was a hit), cut outs (Alice Euphemia’s jumpsuit with cut outs was devine), peplums and leather (Alice Euphemia also did this trend very well in the cutest pair of shorts).

Pastels, neons, brights, metallics and neutral were the top colour picks.

My favourite collection would have to be Manning Cartell’s. I love the use of florals and colours, it is bright and oh so fun!

This is what I wore: Dotti Jacket, Sportsgirl Dress, Sportsgirl Shoes, Vintage Belt, Equip Necklace.
